1月22日にzoomを使ったセミナー、独立記念日を開催しました。これまでzoomでミーティングに参加したり、セミナーに参加したりしたことはありましたが、講師としてセミナーを行うのは何せ初めてでしたので、新鮮な発見がたくさん。今後もzoomセミナーは継続していきたいと考えているので、次に活かせるようにしっかりと総括をしたいと思います。
最初に全体の総括しちゃいます。まずは多くの方にご参加いただきありがとうございました。参加者の多くは初対面の方で、マタタビレコーズさんとのコラボレーションが効いた結果だなと感じています。
最初に話し合った時に、「仲間を増やしたいよね」というのが挙がりました。そう、情報提供したいのではなく独立している「仲間を増やしたい」というのが主催した目的です。自分たちと一緒に仕事をする仲間を増やすために、自分たちにできるサポートはしていきたいし、伴走していきたいと考えています。クライアント、ビジネスパートナーというビジネスライクな関係ではなく、コミュニティとして仕事をしていきたい。そんな思いが形になったセミナーになったと感じています。
今回は「確定申告」をメインテーマにして話をしましたが、独立するにあたってやることはたくさんあるし、まだまだ話し足りないことだらけ。次回以降も企画していきたいなと思いました。
今回、オンラインセミナーを行うにあたって最初に行った工夫がバーチャル背景の作成です。僕はcanvaというデザインサイトをよく使っているのですが、そこまで凝った作りのものじゃなくてもOKだと考えていたので、パワポで作成しました。
まず、セミナー中に自宅の背景などが写っていると視聴者が集中できないというのがあります。これは実際に他のセミナーを受けてみて感じたことでもありました。余計な背景が見えないと、講師に集中できます。セミナーの雰囲気が盛り上がるので、バーチャル背景はオンラインセミナーに欠かせません。今回、シンプルなものでしたが、作ってよかったなと思います。
設定は簡単です。Zoomの右上にある自分のアイコンをタップし、設定を選択します。すると、「バーチャル背景」という項目が出てくるので、それを選択。バーチャル背景を選択の横にあるプラスボタンをタップしアップロードします。文字を入れたい場合はミラーリング項目を外すと自分からもちゃんと文字が読めるように映ります。
これまで撮影した写真を背景にしても良いですし、簡単なのでぜひ設定してみてください。
他の方のセミナーに参加して毎回感じていたことは、共有された資料の一部が講師のワイプによって見えない！！ということでした。見えそうで見えないあれ、本当に煩わしいんです。特に文字が隠れるのがストレスです。
そこで、資料作成の際、ワイプ置き場を意識しながらデザインを考えました。ズバリ、右上は基本空白もしくは特に意味のなさない写真だけというもの。そして文字情報は左に寄せるか下にまとめます。
資料作成の際にもう1つ気を使ったのが文字の大きさでした。Zoomなどオンラインセミナーではパソコン利用者ばかりではなく、スマホ利用の方もいるということ。１枚のシートにあまり多くの情報を詰め込むと読みづらくなるので、シートを分けるもしくは文字は少なくすることを心がけました。
そもそもプレゼン資料というものはTPOがとても重要です。状況に応じた資料のデザインや形、枚数が求められます。ということは、やっぱりオンラインセミナーに適合した資料の形があるわけで、従来の講演やセミナーとは異なる工夫が必要です。
講師をしているのといち参加者でいるのとでこんなに違うものかと感じたのは、話している時でした。これまでもイベントで話をさせてもらったり講師をした経験もありましたので、そこまで緊張はしていなかったのですが、周囲の反応が全くわからなかったのは今回が初めてでした。カメラオフで参加する方多かったですしね。
会場でやる場合参加者の顔を見ながらなので、うなずいていたり、メモをとっていたりとみんなの反応を確かめながら話を進められていたのですが、オンラインだとなんだか独り言でベラベラしゃべってしまっているような気分になってきて、「本当にみんな聞いているのかな？」「ちゃんと伝わってる？」と不安になってきました。
そんな時、ありがたかったのが進行役の存在。所々で質問タイムを作ってくれたり、チャットに上がってきたコメントを拾ってくれたりしたので、独り言感はなくなりました。オンラインセミナーは確かに参加者みんながマイクをオンにして話しだすと収集がつかないというリスクがあるので、基本的にはミュートにしてもらう必要があるのですが、反応役がいると盛り上がるし、進行もスムーズになるなと感じました。この辺のさじ加減をうまくやれるとセミナー自体が盛り上がるのだと思います。
独立記念日は今回で実は5回目だということがわかりました。この反省を活かしてもっといいセミナーになるように、わかりやすく実践しやすいように工夫して次回につなげたいと思います。本当に、まだまだやりたいことあるんです。補助金を申請するコツとか、企画書のまとめ方とか、マーケティングの基礎とか、販売促進とか、ブランディング、コンテンツマーケ、ウェブマーケなどなど。
