段々と暑くなってきました。
北海道もものすごく暑くなる日が年に10日くらいはあるんですよ。

札幌にいるとクーラー欲しい！と切に思うのですが、島牧村へ行くと海風が気持ちよくて全くクーラー必要だなんて思いません。

さてさて昨年の夏を振り返ってみると、高校1年生1人、小学校高学年2人を研修生として番の家で受け入れたことが思い起こされます。
研修生のしーちゃんにはブログの更新もお願いしていました。
彼女の短期間での成長が見えてなかなか貴重な記録です。
今年はバタバタしていたこともあり、まずは家の改装を優先したこともあり、今年も研修生受け入れるかどうか、はっきりしないままここまできてしまいました。
本当はちゃーんと準備して、告知もして進めてきたいところなんですけどね。
ただありがたいことに、夏の時期は毎年島牧には色々と人が訪れてくれ、番の家は交流の場として機能しています。
今年の夏もすでに何組か予約が。
とはいえ、宿泊施設ではないので、宿泊料はいただいておりません。
体験の見返りに面白い話とか、お酒とか、音楽や料理など何か特技披露してもらうとか、子どもたちに勉強教えてもらうとかそういう形で還元してもらっています。
もちろん、ドネーションは大歓迎です。
家の修繕費や改装費の一部に充てさせてもらっています。
トイレの次は客間のリノベーションを考えていますよ。
というわけで、今年は大々的に募集はしませんが、親元を離れての番の家に滞在してみたい！という方こっそり募集してみようかな。
